Excited to share that LexMed.ai was featured in Arkansas Business! ?? Thank you to Mark Friedman for sharing our story! When I couldn’t find the right tools to manage the massive medical records in my Social Security Disability practice, I built my own. That’s how LexMed was born—a legal tech company using AI to empower attorneys. Our first product is an AI-driven transcription service tailored for Social Security hearings, but we’re not stopping there. We’re rolling out a full suite of tools to revolutionize the legal process—with a demo video dropping in a few days! As I mentioned in the article, “If we release a half-baked product…you’ll lose your credibility.” That’s why we’re committed to delivering top-notch solutions. “When OpenAI released GPT, it changed the game for us,” I shared in the article. And this is just the beginning. #LegalTech #AI #LexMed #Innovation #DemoComingSoon Arkansas Business Publishing Group| ARise | Startup Junkie | Arkansas Economic Development Commission | Builders + Backers
关于我们
At LexMed, our philosophy centers on leveraging cutting-edge technology to streamline and enhance the practice of Social Security disability law. By automating time-intensive tasks, we enable legal professionals to focus on high-level strategic activities and client interaction, improving both efficiency and case outcomes. One of our flagship innovations, Hearing Echo, exemplifies this approach. Utilizing advanced automated speech recognition (ASR), Hearing Echo quickly generates precise and comprehensive hearing transcripts. This tool not only saves time but also includes features like interactive timelines and AI-powered summarization, helping attorneys navigate and analyze complex legal information with ease. Building on this foundation, Hearing Echo further supports legal accuracy and fairness through procedural and testimony auditing. Procedural auditing ensures that all hearings adhere to established legal standards, safeguarding the rights of all parties and maintaining the integrity of the legal process. Meanwhile, testimony auditing scrutinizes the content of hearings, particularly expert witness testimonies, for inconsistencies and biases. This enables attorneys to challenge unreliable evidence effectively, strengthening their case strategies and enhancing their ability to advocate for their clients successfully.

On Monday, I said goodbye to my mother, Kathleen Geeslin, after her 30-year battle with inclusion body myositis (IBM). Her influence on my character and professional journey has been profound, and I feel compelled to share her story. For three decades, I watched my mother face this rare degenerative muscle disease with unwavering grace. Her resilience became the foundation of my approach to work and life, teaching me the true meaning of perseverance. To those who knew her, Mom was a force of nature - a teacher, a friend, a pillar of strength. To me, she was all that and more. Her genuine interest in helping others and her ability to connect with people from all walks of life profoundly influenced both my personal and professional paths. While my father, Bobby Coleman, a trial attorney, heavily influenced my pursuit of law, it was my mother's condition that inspired my unwavering commitment to advocating for Social Security Disability claimants. My legal journey began with crisscrossing Arkansas, representing Social Security claimants in administrative hearings. As I progressed to establishing a niche practice in Social Security appellate work, my mom was always eager to hear about my cases and proud of my successes. Her interest and support were constant motivators, pushing me to excel in my field. Through my work and witnessing my mother's journey with IBM, I became acutely aware of the daunting hurdles within the bureaucratic Social Security system and the complexities of our healthcare system. Whether it was accessing specialists or pursuing clinical trials, the path was often challenging. However, my mother was fortunate to have resources that made these obstacles more surmountable, including two attorneys in the family to navigate the legal intricacies. Yet, I realized that most people facing similar challenges don't have these resources. This stark contrast became the driving force behind LexMed, which evolved from a passion project into a tangible solution. LexMed leverages AI to make quality legal representation more accessible to those facing disabilities, especially those without resources. It's a manifestation of the values my mother instilled in me: resilience, empathy, and commitment to helping others. I've always been private about these personal motivations, but sharing her story now feels like the best way to honor her. Mom's battle with IBM may have ended, but her spirit lives on in both my personal life and professional endeavors. To support others battling IBM, please consider donating to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or MyositisAssociation through my mother's memorial page: https://lnkd.in/g9zrVfk9 or directly through myositis.org/donate. To my Mom: Your strength continues to drive everything I strive for. Thank you for inspiring a mission that extends far beyond what we imagined. Your experience has shaped my goal to make justice accessible to all. You will be dearly missed. I love you, Mom.
