I've worked in the subscription & freemium space for a good portion of my career at some of the biggest brands out there. Looking forward to sharing how we've applied those learnings, lessons and experiences to build premium features at the start-up scale at Lex.

Pride Month is here! For June's Travel + Leisure, I explored how apps like Grindr, Lex, and HER App create a sense of community for LGBTQ+ travelers and complement queer physical spaces. But those venues are dwindling in number. Thanks to Ed Salvato, Austin Konkle, and many others (sorry if I couldn't include you!) for lending a voice here.?And I'm so grateful stories like this get space in huge print publications.

A: My favorite way to use Lex is through our Groups Explore feature to help me find local QTBIPOC community and events! Q: Biggest lesson you learned this year? A: As Octavia E. Butler put it, “Forget inspiration. Habit is more dependable. Habit will sustain you whether you’re inspired or not. Habit will help you finish and polish your stories. Inspiration won’t. Habit is persistence in practice.” Q: A book/podcast/TV show/movie you would recommend? A: The book An Indigenous Present, a volume of Native North American contemporary artists, musicians, filmmakers, choreographers, architects, writers, photographers, designers and more.
