WELCOME to LEX Language Project!
Our mission is to empower individuals and communities across generations to develop their full potential through multilingualism and multiculturalism. The name LEX stands for Institute for Language EXperience, EXperiment, and EXchange.
LEX programs also emphasize the acceptance of others and communication with people from all over the world. LEX impact travels worldwide through our different programs. The organization currently has 25,000 active members in the U.S., Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Mexico and offices in the U.S., Japan, Korea, and Mexico.
LEX Language Project is a network of community-based language clubs. At LEX, people of all ages and backgrounds can enjoy the successful acquisition of multiple languages in a fun, casual, and supportive environment. The effects of learning the LEX way go beyond being multilingual. Our members open their mind to a bigger world where they embrace different cultures and feel proud of their differences.
Members practice and improve their public speaking; they increase their confidence and celebrate each other’s accomplishments. They learn to be more practical and have patience with themselves and others; they develop their leadership, teamwork, and social communication.
LEX work consists of the immersion-style multilingual language learning programs, international exchange programs such as the LEX Internship and Gap Year, and educational publishing. To make these programs as accessible as possible, we offer the Paros-Owada Membership Scholarship and the LEX Global Leaders Scholarship.
