Meet Mir Moyer! They started at the Garden as a Guest Services Associate in May 2023 and transitioned to the Exhibitions department to become the Exhibits and Programming Coordinator in June 2024! In their current role, they help coordinate arts-focused events and gallery shows to promote the arts within the garden. They're passionate about creating new events that welcome under-served communities into our space. Two upcoming events they're especially excited to work on are Diwali on Saturday, October 26, and GardenInk – Celebrate Botanical Tattoos! on Saturday, February 8, 2025. They graduated from William & Mary in 2021 and enjoy exploring their new home in Richmond, VA by becoming immersed in the city’s vibrant arts and culture scene.
