The Houlne Center for Convergent Technology in St. Joseph, Missouri, is home to a cutting-edge manufacturing cell that features a robot from FANUC America Corporation on a 7th-axis rail, tending to a #CNC mill and lathe from Levil Technology. This advanced system, developed through a collaboration between Missouri Western State University and North Central Missouri College, provides students with practical, hands-on experience in advanced manufacturing, preparing them to contribute to a strong regional workforce. The creation of this custom manufacturing cell is credited to the vision of instructor Rick Sharp and the expertise of APT Manufacturing Solutions and Aidex Educational Systems. Their contributions were instrumental in turning this ambitious concept into reality. This state-of-the-art facility is set to become a hub for education and training in manufacturing, construction, and advanced support technologies. We’re excited for the students, faculty, and professionals who will benefit from the opportunities this center provides. If you’re interested in incorporating a similar system into your facility, send us a direct message, and we’ll connect you with your local distributors.

关于我们
Levil Technology is a family-oriented, Central Florida-based company established in 2000. We are dedicated to the design and production of tabletop CNC machines that have a broad array of users across many industries. Unlike many tabletops out there, our machines are able to reach incredible precision and high speeds thanks to our servo-controlled technology. Not only are they capable of machining, but they can also digitize, change, and measure tools automatically, perform CAN cycle, and much more, using a simple to use Windows-based software or industry-proven FANUC control. With our introductory milling machine, the LV-300, Levil Technology began its journey to establish itself as a small machine manufacturer. Levil Technology has designed and introduced numerous systems into the small machine manufacturing markets that focus on areas such as education, R&D labs, small machine shops, aerospace, medical, dental, etc. Though education has been Levil Technology’s main focus, they are now concentrating their efforts to introduce more industry-oriented systems, in order to service manufacturing facilities with limited space. A need that has previously been ignored. Levil Technology is proud to bring technology and innovation to businesses and individuals around the world every day. We provide quality and mobility, virtually unmatched whether you are a CNC machining school or an industrial corporation.

We are excited to welcome our new intern, Josh! He is a student at the University of Central Florida and will be shadowing our team to gain hands-on experience at different stations every Wednesday. To highlight his internship journey, we will be documenting his weekly progress on our accounts. This week, he focused on machine wiring, learning the basics of properly integrating various components of our CNC machines. Stay tuned for updates on Josh’s progress as he continues to explore new stations each week! If you know a student attending a college or university in the Central Florida area who might be interested in starting an internship with us, feel free to send us a direct message. We’d love to hear from them!

A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of visiting the Warsaw Area Career Center to help their instructor get up to speed with his new robot loaded EDU-MiLL system, which consists of a FANUC America Corporation’s CRX-5 robot and a 3-axis CNC milling machine. This system enables students to learn the complexities of automating a production line, operating it, and troubleshooting, preparing them for real-world industry projects. Thank you to Justin Chittick from Aidex Educational Systems for making this possible! If you’re interested in adding a similar system inside your shop, send us a direct message, and we’ll connect you with your local distributor.
