It’s not been done here before so it’s time to do it now! That’s why Shon Christy and I are teaming up for a LinkedIn Local Northeast Ohio event in…one month from today! On Thursday, April 10th, we’re hosting LinkedIn Local at Paninis Bar and Grille in Stow from 5:30-7:30pm. It’s a networking event combined with a chance to learn more about what you need to do to achieve your goals on LinkedIn too! Shon and I will both take the microphone to teach fundamentals on LinkedIn. So this event will be a chance to learn more about this platform, get your questions answered, AND of course meet and chat with some awesome people in person too! Let’s grow and build relationships! We are hoping this is the first in a series of these type of events. We will be moving the location around the area to make it more convenient for people too. This is an in-person event. I'm really, really, really looking forward to next Wednesday! It's an opportunity to return to the city where Leverage Up, LLC was born. I'm headed back to Columbus, Ohio for a speaking gig! I will on stage at the Worthington Area Chamber to present on...drum roll please...Using LinkedIn for Business! If you're new around here, I'll give you a hint at what that means... I'm a big fan of stepping away from the "LinkedIn is where I keep my resume" mindset and instead flipping that switch to "LinkedIn is a HUGE networking event where you can get to know, like, and trust people!" It's all about getting the foundation pieces in the right place, in order to get the most out of this platform.
