International Women's Day was this weekend and we wanted to take this moment to recognize and celebrate all of the amazing women that we get to work with at LevelUp. We work with so many professional women who impress us daily - they put their all into their work, caring for their teams, caring for their families, and they still challenge themselves to continuously evolve. If we could use one word to describe women on this day it's resilient. We are also so lucky to have the type of women in our corner that support other women loudly and would like to celebrate some of these women. Have you heard of uncertainty bias? Uncertainty bias refers to the tendency to avoid making decisions or to prefer the status quo when faced with uncertainty, leading to potentially suboptimal outcomes. And right now the majority of the companies that I work are going through a lot of change leaving teams in a sea of uncertainty. Great leaders know this and take careful steps to provide as much clarity and support so that people can champion the change and not fight against. I recently had the opportunity to work alongside a team that demonstrated just how impactful it is to thoughtfully and methodically move a team through change. Lily Inman Wilson and at Angi made the investment to bring in LevelUp Coaching and Training to run change management workshops and the feedback we received while there and after was pretty remarkable. The team made mention of how meaningful it was to have such a thoughtful approach to change and how impactful it was to have a third party to work through the inevitable fears and concerns that come with uncertainty. And the results are exactly what a businesses need when they make changes - a team of people standing behind the change, ready to march forward toward a common goal.

This year has been a big year for onsites/offsites. I love the energy that comes from getting everyone together and watching relationships form and strengthen.
