Taking the lead as the first of three missions in the Polaris Program, the Polaris Dawn mission aims to advance human exploration of the Moon, Mars and beyond, testing new technology and conducting research to improve space travel for humans.??? Space health is an extreme challenge facing today’s astronauts. Yesterday I had the honor of kicking off the FDA’s “AI in Drug and Biological Product Development” conference at FDA headquarters outside of DC with a brief talk. Then I joined a rousing panel discussion with Charles Fisher and Dr. Elazer Edelman about multidisciplinary AI. Dr. Edelman is the inventor of the drug eluding stent (featured prominently in Cardio Ex). I also learned that one of his kids is an Olympic bobsledder for team Israel and the other one has comedy special on HBO. #Naches Kudos to Tala, Anindita, and the whole team at FDA for MCing an awesome panel and hosting a fantastic event.
