Dandi Fertility has been awarded a TIME Best Inventions of 2024 award in the Home Health category! An extraordinary achievement for our friends and clients at Dandi Fertility. Within a short 5 months Jake, Leyla and team have launched the business and reshaped the IVF support landscape, already assisting 20 users achieve pregnancy. We are so proud of this acknowledgement, both because of Dandi Fertility's dedicated vision and for level's realization of a system that offers these vulnerable users the comfort, care and solutions they so deserve. Congratulations Dandi Fertility! Industrial Design Photography: Eric Haines
SURREAL TO SHARE THAT Dandi Fertility HAS JUST BEEN NAMED A TIME 2024 BEST INVENTION! In an era where innovation is often relegated to AI, self-driving cars or shiny new tech, to us, innovation has always meant something different. We have always thought about innovation from a more humanistic perspective, asking ourselves the question: are we positively transforming the way somebody FEELS as they go through a deeply vulnerable experience? If the answer is yes, then we are on the right track. We spent over two years pouring all our love into building something that never before existed — we knew how badly women deserved products built specifically for the fertility treatment experience. But we couldn’t do it alone. A huge show of gratitude to leveldesignsf who brought so much empathy and compassion to the industrial design journey, as well as the countless women in our community who played an integral role in helping us to ideate, test, learn, and go back to the drawing board 100 times before realizing a finished product. Our work is far from finished. It’s just getting started. There is so much innovation on the horizon as we continue to evolve the ways in which women are supported along their paths to parenthood ?? ?? Myself and the level team are long time admirers of Dezeen, so this is a rewarding nod to for us all. Congratulations Nex Playground!
Fun to see Nex Playground longlisted in the prestigious Dezeen Awards under the Product Design category. Nex Playground’s geometric form took inspiration from early Nintendo consoles, Rubix Cubes, and contemporary nostalgic designers, Teenage Engineering. Harkening back to the joy we all experienced when gaming was new to the world, it’s a nod and sentiment those doing the purchasing appreciate. https://lnkd.in/gK6gBrWx

Arguably the highlight of our year, the annual Baukunst conference brings together thought leaders and those shaping our collective futures. Each event has become a reunion, pulling in teams and individuals from across the country, we come together to hear what's new and discuss what's on the horizon. Thank you, as always Baukunst! See you next time.
This year, we gathered once again at the iconic Hotel Chelsea in New York, bringing together 100+ collective members, founders, and investors to reflect on our progress and set the stage for what’s next. Some of the highlights from 2024 revealed at this year’s conference include: ?? $29M invested as of September 2024 ?? 19 companies now in the Baukunst portfolio ?? 2 new companies launched by collective members ?? 2 Study Groups completed and published, exploring the future of mushrooms and AI’s role in CAD ?? A new home for the collective in Bernal Heights, San Francisco ?? And many exciting developments for 2025 still under wraps—stay tuned The morning kicked off with presentations from founders, who shared their experiences with launch, refining their brands, and the lessons learned over the past year of building. In the afternoon, collective members delivered dynamic five-minute talks on topics of their choice—from how card counting relates to business strategy to provocations around how utilizing AI could help you become a better manager and human. We're excited to share some of these valuable insights with our broader community soon. Over the course of two days, new connections were made, ideas were exchanged, and our collective’s growth was celebrated. These conferences are a special time for us, and we’re deeply grateful to everyone who joined us to reflect and strategize for the future. Thank you to all who attended—the energy at this event is always palpable, and fuels the momentum of what we're building together. We’re looking forward to seeing the progress we’ll make over the next year, and reflecting on it all when we reconvene in 2025.

"With 20% of the global population impacted by fertility struggles, almost all investment and attention in this space has gone towards expanding access to treatment... how do we create a more empowered, supported and empathetic fertility care experience?" - Jake Kent Read how Dandi Fertility, inspired through hard won learnings, is reshaping the IVF support space.
"The reality is we are going to have millions and millions of women with no choice but to turn to these sorts of reproductive technologies if they want to bring a child into the world. Who is going to support all of these women along such vulnerable and life-altering journeys?" Honored to share that Dandi Fertility was just featured in an important Forbes story that examines the ways in which the fertility patient experience has lacked any true innovation in 50 years since IVF's inception. With 20% of the global population impacted by fertility struggles, almost all investment and attention in this space has gone towards expanding access to treatment (i.e. clinics, insurance, etc). But there's an important, deeply human question that has been largely overlooked: with an exploding population of fertility patients who have so much at stake, how do we create a more empowered, supported and empathetic fertility care experience? Three years ago, we set out to answer that question. So proud to have built a brand that is improving such a deeply vulnerable human experience. Thanks to Josipa Majic Predin for shining a light on this important topic. And huge show of gratitude to our investors who deeply cared about bringing good into the world, our advisors who supported us every step of the day, the team who brought this vision to life, and to the mightiest and kindest partner and co-founder Leyla Bilali, BSN, RN!
