    ?? Celebrating International Women's Day at Levata! ?? As we approach International Women's Day, we are reminded of the incredible contributions women make to our company, our industry, and our world. One of Levata’s Co-Founders, Sheila Alishouse, says, "I think of the moments in history that truly changed our communities for the good. Women were often leading in areas like fighting for education, challenging old systems asking children to work in dangerous factories, advocating for the end of slavery, organizing protests to pass the 19th Amendment guaranteeing women the right to vote in the U.S., and marching for equity in business in the 70's. Women have consistently changed things for the better. And not only women have benefited - but also families, children, men, our companies, communities, and economy. I'm proud to be part of an inclusive and diverse team at LEVATA Human Performance with a purpose that supports equity. We are forging a new path by making respect for our inclusive humanity and succeeding in business synonymous terms." This year's IWD theme, #EmbraceEquity, resonates deeply with Levata’s core values. We are committed to creating an environment where everyone, regardless of gender, can thrive and reach their full potential. Our team is dedicated to fostering a culture of respect, support, and empowerment. Maggie Metzler, one of our Service Leaders shared her experience: In my early career I heard, "emotional", "soft skills", "nurturing", "team player", "too vulnerable" not just about me, but many women were lumped into these buckets and dismissed as not fitting into the classic mold of a leader. At Levata, I am aware that what were once viewed as diminishing comments are seen as leadership capabilities. I've been empowered to lead as my authentic self, leaning into these strengths while challenging myself to grow in other areas. In my experience, by adding women to a leadership team, there is more balance and openness to things being done differently. Enter: innovation, collaboration, transparency, and increased efficiency. Co-Founder, Amy Douglas says, "At Levata Human Performance, we recognize that the strength of our team lies in our diversity of perspectives, expertise, and lived experiences and we intentionally foster a culture of belonging. As we celebrate International Women's Day, we honor the women who have paved the way and those who continue to inspire us every day, including our amazing women at Levata. Let's embrace equity and work together to create a future where everyone feels valued, included, and has the opportunity to succeed." Not only were we able to meet other HR professionals and connect with some of our clients, but we heard from the Aon advisory team, who shared valuable insights from the Radford McLagan Compensation Database, including: ?? Pay Regulations Landscape While there were many data points that warrant robust discussion (yes, AI is everywhere!) one that we continue to talk about is the current #5GenerationWorkforce: Traditionals, Baby Boomers, Generation X, Generation Y (Millennials), and Generation Z. It is a fascinating challenge to create a healthy workplace for colleagues who came into the workforce at different points along the technology maturity path, have different preferences around workplace flexibility, hold varying opinions about the importance of specific benefits, and likely approach learning differently.
