  • For this #TeamworkThursday, we will be introducing our Force Provider Branch team from the Directorate of Industrial Operations! #TeamLEAD is proud to provide a Force Provider Camp as a deployable base support system developed by the United States Army to provide rest and relief facilities for deployed warfighters. Force Provider Expeditionary is a modular base camp life support capability that supports about 150 personnel with environmentally controlled billeting, food service, hygiene, power generation and distribution, petroleum and water storage and distribution, and shower water recycling. Force Provider Expeditionary has provided high-quality living conditions in several locations across the world. This team has the capability to provide reset as well as new build deployable base systems to support our Army’s mission. These individual units, kits, and containers within the Force Provider command have been sent to the Letterkenny team because they are seen and respected as experts in adjusting technical documents to give best practice in the repair and rest of these items and to make sure they are in excellent condition when arriving at destination. #JoinUs in recognizing our Force Provider team for their hard work ensuring tremendous results to support our warfighter! We are all one team from different backgrounds, coming together to support our warfighters.

  • On March 11, LEAD’s corrosion team from the Directorate of Strategic Management hosted members from the aRobotics Company for a tour of our cold spray capabilities. They learned more about common assets prone to corrosion and the specific areas. At Letterkenny, we strive to continuously improve to modernize our depot. With the help of aRobotics, we will do just that to support our warfighters. #DYK aRobotics was one of the businesses that submitted a proposal with us and scored in our top 3 submissions. In July of 2024, we hosted SBIR, Small Business Innovative Research, to help us create newly developed technology that could make us more efficient as a depot. The first proposal we wrote for SBIR was a Multisystem Mobile Corrosion Unit for forward repair. Once SBIR accepted the LEAD proposal, it was solicited. We received a proposal on how aRobotics would meet our needs with their designed concept. #ArmyTransformation | #LEADingTheWay

  • #JoinUs in congratulating Shane Sneary, an electronic industrial controls mechanic from the Directorate of Industrial Operations, in recognition of earning the title of wage grade Employee of the Quarter for fiscal year 2025, first quarter! ???? Shane has worked at the depot for approximately seven years and oversees a myriad of inter-shop actions for the Sentinel Radar Overhaul Program. He communicates and schedules thousands of inter-shop actions with associated secondary Program Management Teams (PMT). He consistently looks for ways to conserve customer funds while improving efficiencies within Sentinel Radar Program operations. Shane analyzed and reconstructed the Sentinel Radar Overhaul production route step-by-step. After he briefed his PMT on the inconsistencies he found, they quickly performed a mock route simulation as Shane explained in full detail. It was found that with his adjustments, there would be an exponentially faster production time and would save the customer nearly $100,000 per asset. #MotivationMonday
