Yesterday, we joined a pivotal Senate briefing in Washington, D.C., uniting advocates, healthcare leaders, and policymakers to advance menopause care. The session featured a clip from The M Factor film and introduced new bipartisan legislation aimed at enhancing menopause research and resources. This initiative marks a significant step toward providing women with the comprehensive support they deserve during midlife and beyond. As Kathryn Godburn Schubert of Society for Women's Health Research (SWHR) noted, "The amount of funding at the NIH for women's health research is really small. It's less than 11% across the board... We couldn't even track menopause." We are committed to sustaining this momentum, ensuring every woman has access to accurate information and quality care as she navigates menopause. We’re proud to see Dr. Robin Noble MD, MHCDS , Chief Medical Officer of Let’s Talk Menopause, featured in Medical News Today , where she shares her expert insights on heart health and menopause ?? As Dr. Noble explains, heart disease risk increases significantly for women around menopause due to the drop in estrogen. Estrogen helps protect the heart, and its decline can lead to higher cardiovascular risk. To reduce this risk, Dr. Noble recommends a healthy lifestyle with exercise, stress management, and a balanced diet. Hormone replacement therapy (HRT), when started early, can also offer heart health benefits. We encourage all women to prioritize heart health and discuss your options with your doctor! ?? #HeartHealth #MenopauseAwareness #LetsTalkMenopause #HealthyLiving

?? We had the privilege of attending the Women in Work Summit , a pivotal event focused on empowering businesses to support and advance female employees through every stage of life and health—from menstruation to menopause. ?? Huge thanks to LTM Board Member and Ambassador, Tamsen Fadal, for her impactful contributions as co-host and panelist, alongside LTM Advisory Board member Samantha Skey of SHE Media , both dedicated to elevating essential conversations on women’s wellness. ??? We were proud to see LTM Advisory Board member Omisade Burney-Scott alongside Celeste Warren (She/Her) of Merck participate in the important “How to Advocate for All” panel, moderated by Denise Pines, Executive Producer of The M Factor: Shredding the Silence on Menopause documentary, igniting essential dialogue on workplace inclusivity. Other highlights included a discussion with the dynamic duo of Tamsen and Mariella Frostrup, author, advocate, and Menopause Mandate co-chair, about the important work done so far, and the work still needed to be done, to support menopausal women in the workplace, and Bayer’s Asha Hope unpacking some specific workplace policies they’ve enacted to support women across the organization. This summit underscored the critical role of collaboration and advocacy for midlife women. ??
