Allow us to reintroduce ourselves! Nikoa and Jenny met in 2012 while first-year students at Columbia Business School. While there, they became fast friends. In 2019, Jenny and Nikoa came together and envisioned a multiracial network that was also a fund for Black women entrepreneurs, and Level was born! Level’s vision is that by working together toward the common goal of racial equity, we can both serve the cause and build authentic cross-racial relationships, leading to a unique and robust network of women. A few years and a lot of followers later, it's a pleasure to reintroduce you to our remarkable movement!

Black women are the backbone of progress in our communities, industries, and society. Here’s why investing in Black women isn’t just impactful, it’s essential: ?Black women are the most educated demographic in the U.S., with degrees earned by Black women growing by more than 30% in recent years. Despite systemic barriers, we continue to outperform and deliver exceptional results. ?Black women are leading the charge in entrepreneurship. In fact, we are the fastest-growing group of entrepreneurs in the United States, owning over 2.7 million businesses and generating billions of dollars in revenue annually. Imagine the ripple effect when these businesses receive the capital, resources, connections and networks they need to thrive. ?Black women excel in leadership roles, often spearheading transformative change and fostering inclusive environments. Studies show that companies with diverse leadership teams are 35% more likely to outperform their peers. ?Investing in Black women means investing in families, communities, and the future.
