Meet Stef! One of CAMP’s Packaging Professionals! From the East Coast to STL, Stefanie started her cannabis career while studying in SLU’s Cannabis program. Starting in dispensary work, she quickly realized that gaining and utilizing hands-on experience with the plant is what ignited her excitement. In addition to enjoying her time as part of the CAMP team, she appreciates the “work family” vibe, as well as the constant opportunity for growth. Her day usually starts with the unmistakable aroma of fresh flower—followed by the aroma of coffee in the break room. After scrubbing up, she’ll take a peek at what strains are being prepared in post harvest, then it’s off to packaging to prep orders for delivery. Stefanie believes her biggest accomplishment—personal and professional—has been her ability to soak up knowledge, quickly apply it, and assist where needed; becoming a true asset to the communities she’s apart of. If she could swap roles for a day? She’d step into our COO, Jennifer McGuire’s, shoes to gain insight into what it takes behind the scenes to run a commercial cultivation and manufacturing operation in MO’s competitive and ever-evolving climate. Outside of work, you can find Stef at industry events, Cannamom meetups, or rolling—on skates, that is! She loves a good trail skate, unwinding with some Chem OG, and crocheting handmade blankets for her family. In addition to our appreciation for her hard work and upbeat demeanor, we’re pretty much addicted to hearing her say everyday words in a New York accent! It’s been exactly one year since Stef’s journey lead her to the CAMPgrounds and we couldn’t be more proud to have her! Let’s wish her a Happy CAMPversary and continued growth in the industry!
