Have you ever seen the time-lapse of #AscentMKE? This is one of the core reasons we love #masstimber. It took ~6 months to build the 6-story concrete podium, and then ~6 months to build the 19-story mass timber superstructure above. The superstructure was built 40% faster (~6 days per floor) than if built in concrete. 78% fewer construction workers on site. The project was built in 23 months, ~3.5 months faster than with concrete.
