Many brands see motorsport partnerships as nothing more than a branding exercise—slap a logo on a car and call it a day. But the truth is, they’re missing out on a strategic business channel that can drive real growth. (Sometimes it helps to have an outside perspective.) So, we audit their brand and approach to sports partnerships to figure out where they’re going wrong. And we’ve identified the top mistakes brands are making. Here are the 3 Biggest Mistakes Brands Make in Motorsport Sponsorships: 1. Viewing Motorsport Partnerships as Just a Branding Play ?? Brands often treat it like a logo-on-a-car deal and stop there. ?
