I said it last week, and I’ll say it again today: having Frank Sulkowski of WJCL 22 take the time to sit down with me, hear my story, and share Leto’s mission is a level of support I will never take for granted. Thank you to everyone who continues to Leto on. The road has been, and will continue to be, long. There’s still so much work to do, but I’m locked in and ready. Your continued support means the world—thank you! Interview can be seen below: https://lnkd.in/eyah5DqJ

Today, I had the privilege of sitting down with Congressman Buddy Carter to discuss the future of the Healthy Moms and Healthy Babies Act here in Georgia. Congressman Carter assured me that passing this bill is a top priority, and I believe in his commitment. Improving maternal health in Georgia and across the United States is a bipartisan issue—one that requires all hands on deck. It will take the voices, experiences, and dedication of many to create meaningful change. Congressman Carter’s willingness to meet with me today, despite his packed schedule preparing for the inauguration, the first 100 days, and with less than 24 hours in town, underscores his dedication to improving maternal health outcomes. I’m grateful the app is available to help women navigate this challenging time, but there is no single solution. I want to see millions of apps, resources, and innovative approaches addressing this issue until every mother receives the care and support she needs. Moms, my commitment to you goes beyond the app. You deserve to heal. You deserve nothing less than a brighter, healthier future for you and your families. Let’s continue to raise our voices and advocate for the change we need.

I am beyond humbled. I spoke with Jeff Kovaleski of The Journal Gazette on Wednesday, and seeing the quote, “The app could become a go-to resource for birthing-age women in the U.S., where undiagnosed perinatal mood and anxiety disorders are the No. 1 complication associated with childbirth and the leading cause of maternal mortality and morbidity,” has left me speechless. Thank you to The Journal Gazette for this incredible feature. I am deeply grateful for your coverage. You can read the article at the link below. https://lnkd.in/eX2izKBM
