This week, I joined the Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting, where First Lady Jill Biden announced the United States Department of Defense’s $500 million commitment to women’s health research. This significant investment marks another crucial step forward in addressing the health disparities that affect women, but it’s just the beginning. At WHAM, we believe this momentum must be harnessed to create lasting, meaningful impact. With the DoD’s support, we can accelerate research, close critical gaps, and drive innovative solutions for women’s health—making sure this commitment translates into real-world improvements for generations to come. Apply by emailing a pitch deck to [email protected] The Launch Minnesota Startup Showcase offers local high-tech companies the opportunity to pitch their business to investors from across the country. This invite-only event for startups and investors creates new connections and opportunities for investment. Up to 10 startups will be selected by Launch MN and its community partners to pitch at this event. The event is Wednesday, November 13 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Launch Minnesota will begin accepting applications from September 30 through October 14 at 11:59 p.m.
