Check out this stunning drone footage of a Lemna project at the Kilbourne, LA wastewater treatment plant! Our team transformed a 5-foot-deep lagoon to handle a total flow of 0.050 MGD using Lemna’s cutting-edge LemTec? Biological Treatment technology. This design divided the lagoon into three cells using our innovative LemTec? Reverse Miter Hydraulic Baffle to control flow and optimize treatment. The first two cells feature low-rate, aerated diffusers to create an ideal environment for the removal of BOD5, efficiently supporting biological activity with partial aeration and mixing. From there, water flows into a covered settling cell, enhanced with our LemTec? Modular Insulated Cover to prevent algae growth, maintain consistent temperatures, and provide optimal conditions for sedimentation. The result?
