关于我们
Michael B. Lehrer, FAIA, founded Lehrer Architects (LA) in his native district of Los Feliz in Los Angeles as a Sole Proprietorship, in 1985. The business, now a California corporation, is thriving in the award-winning office space at 2140 Hyperion Avenue. The professional staff members at LA have extensive experience in designing, managing, master planning and working with the community and cultural organizations on projects throughout Los Angeles and beyond. As such, the firm, its people, and their experiences are all very much rooted in the various neighborhoods and their communities. Lehrer Architects' approach to design grows out of deep love and respect for the community and unwavering focus on its improvement. Michael Lehrer has developed a unique relationship of an architect's communal role: a leader, using design to improve the quality of space and quality of life. Whether the projects are commercial, residential, or institutional, public or private, LA's practice focuses on the making of home and community – from individual to family to neighborhood to city creating places that sanctify the rituals of life.

Thrilled to see Design Principal Ben Lehrer featured in the latest article by Alissa Walker - the leading journalistic voice on the 2028 LA Olympics - in newsletter, Torched.LA! Walker highlights Ben's forward-thinking ideas on creating a legacy transit system for a "car-free" games: “The thought of millions of people waiting for buses in 2028 has similarly perplexed Ben Lehrer, design principal at Lehrer Architects... [he] envisions a modular system of kiosks... making waiting for the bus a destination in itself... around connections, snacks, and cooling.” Proud of our team’s work toward an unforgettable Olympic experience! https://lnkd.in/gjZdWZ6K Subscribe to the Torched newsletter at torched.la

Expressing our gratitude to AIA Los Angeles for honoring our Willowbrook Supportive Housing project with a Design Award! "Its largest impact will be to capture the imagination of the culture showing how such housing can actively enhance its neighborhood, no matter where the new residents lived previously.?This is critical to destigmatize such housing, and to destigmatize the people who live there; demonstrating the beauty of complete neighborhoods." https://lnkd.in/g7ajYwTT
