At the April 1st Miami-Dade Board of Commissioners meeting, a special presentation honored the life and legacy of former Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart. We’re proud to share that his impactful legal career began right here at Legal Services of Greater Miami, where he served as a staff attorney. In this powerful clip, his son Danny Diaz-Balart reflects on how his father’s lifelong commitment to public service was rooted in his early work with us – and how he continues to inspire others to pursue a life of service, reminding us that service is a calling. We are deeply inspired by his legacy and proud that he is part of our history.
