Our Fred Shuttlesworth mural really popped at the Birmingham #VeteransDay parade! And so appropriate for our office to be on the parade route - our #Veterans attorneys are providing essential legal aid services to #alabama Veterans every day.

Every day, LSA?#veterans?Attorneys work to create a more just world for our?#alabama?Veterans. A client struggled to resolve a housing dispute on her own, and felt unheard by private attorneys. Facing an?#eviction, she needed more time to move and sought a fair resolution without an excessive financial burden or a damaging eviction judgment. When the situation escalated, we represented her in court. The result was a unique ruling that met all her needs: reduced damages by $11,806.30, time to make payments and relocate, and the eviction notice deemed invalid due to errors in the landlord’s calculations. After the trial, she expressed her gratitude, saying, "We did it! Thank you a thousand times over for listening to me, believing me, and trusting me as a client." This?#veteransday?you can make a difference for Alabama Veterans with a gift towards the delivery of free,?#legalaid?services: https://lnkd.in/gNU4n749 . . #legalservices?#legalhelp?#legalsupport?#veteransday2024?#veteransupport?#JusticeForAll?#advocacyinaction
