This Native American Heritage Month, we partnered with Spokane Unemployment Law Project to highlight their ongoing commitment to serving Native communities in Eastern Washington. Thank you to Juliana Repp for her collaboration and leadership on this project!

In honor of Veterans Day, we want to lift up one of our grantees that is providing critical services to Veterans in Washington! ? Blue Mountain Action Council (BMAC) is a grantee for the Supportive Services for Veterans Families grant (SSVF) through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. This grant aims to provide rapid rehousing and homelessness prevention services to Veterans at risk of or experiencing homelessness. When Veterans in the community are referred to BMAC, the Pro Bono Legal Services program screens them and their families for potential legal issues related to the goals of the SSVF grant. ? The Office of Civil Legal Aid is asking for public comment and input regarding the next Civil Legal Needs Study (CLNS). While a majority of the information to shape the study comes from the Scoping Committee, this is a great opportunity to contribute to the project! Please share out with your networks.
