Together with Western Center On Law & Poverty, we're hosting a series of two trainings to examine critical questions about administrative law and executive orders. We hope you will join us! Register for one or both at the link below. https://lnkd.in/gXVggXFJ On March 19 at 12:00 PM, Professor David Super, Carmack Waterhouse Professor of Law and Economics at Georgetown Law, will give us an overview of administrative law post-Loper Bright. On April 2 at 12:00 PM, Professor Super will join us again to explain what is and is not possible with presidential executive orders, and how to challenge them. 1 hour of General MCLE per session will be provided by the Western Center on Law & Poverty. Western Center is an approved multi-activity MCLE provider (Provider #2078).

LAAC is excited to share that the California State Legislature has voted to approve SBX 1-2 into law, expanding legal aid funding to protect California’s low-income & vulnerable communities. This support will protect the rights of families to maintain their housing, income, and safety, as well as providing stability to legal services providers amid threats to federal funding cuts.
