Leadership Announcement at Legacy Treatment Services! We are excited to announce that Tinesha Banks DrPH, MPH, has been appointed as our new President! With her vast experience in nonprofit leadership and program development, Dr. Banks is ready to lead Legacy into its next chapter of growth and innovation. We also want to thank Christine Kirkbride MSW, LCSW for her outstanding leadership as Interim CEO over the past year. Christine is grateful for the opportunity and is now excited to transition into her new role as Chief Program Officer, where she can focus on her passion for program operations and continue driving the growth of our services. This week, our 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCORT) officially launched, providing 24/7 community-based crisis response for adults (18+) facing mental health, substance use, or suicidal crises. We proudly responded to our first statewide 988 MCORT dispatch in Region 2 (Camden, Gloucester, and Salem Counties). Our dedicated team of certified experts successfully provided on-the-spot assessment, support, and linkage to care, ensuring the individual received immediate help. The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is more than a number—it’s a lifeline connecting individuals to real-time support, whenever and wherever they need it. ??
