It’s tax season which means those annual reports in Maryland or bi-annual if you’re in DC are due. Failure to file could result in your business not being in good standing to do business and eventual loss of your LLC or Corporation if not resolved. That’s all for this week’s reminders. All initial, updated, and corrected reports must be submitted by the new deadline. CORRECTING MISUNDERSTANDINGS: The CTA is not and was never a file once and done compliance law. It is ongoing compliance. If anything changes in the information you’ve reported in your last report, you are required to file an updated report. This not an annual filing. You file only if information changes. You’ll have 30 days to do so from the date of the change. Need help staying on top of compliance? Don’t want to miss a filing deadline?
