We are thrilled to share that Legacy Remediation has once again been chosen to lead the session on Innovative and Efficient Amendment Delivery Strategies at the 2025 Bioremediation and Environmental Biotechnology Symposium. The event will take place from June 23–26, 2025, in Boston, Massachusetts. Legacy Remediation’s Jake Wilson and ETEC’s Kevin Moore will co-chair this session, classified under Bioremediation Implementation Practices (Sub-category Code: 2c). If you’re interested in presenting, abstracts must be submitted through the conference’s online portal. Comprehensive guidelines for preparing and submitting abstracts are available on the Abstract Specifications & Submittal page of the conference website (link below). While the official deadline for submissions is December 4, 2024, the portal will remain open until sufficient abstracts have been received. The Legacy team recently completed a direct push slurry application of EHC Reagent. EHC?is non-toxic and works through in situ chemical reduction (ISCR) to break down contaminants into harmless molecules. The project site was located in a mixed Industrial / Residential area of West Alameda County. The groundwater is contaminated primarily with Tetrachloroethylene (PCE) and Trichloroethylene (TCE) from a former dry cleaning supply business that occupied the property during the late 70's and early 80's.
