The event was filled with hands-on learning opportunities, including a scavenger hunt where students connected with Legacy EV team members to learn about their career paths and roles in the electric vehicle industry. Attendees also explored interactive demonstrations featuring EV components and tools, gaining insights into the technology behind electric vehicles. The new Gas-to-Electric Repower and Road-Safe Battery Standards set a groundbreaking benchmark for aftermarket EV conversions. Designed to boost safety, reliability, and performance, these standards cover essentials like high-voltage device labeling, battery management, and secure component mounting to ensure safe EV repowers.
