It's almost tax season, I like to get my accountant everything as soon as its available, and I like checklists. Here's an overview of my checklist. I also recommend QBO Online to track all LLC expenses. ?? Last Year’s Tax Returns: Jumpstart your checklist by looking at everything you needed last year.... Copy that list. ?? Current Financials: Profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and journal entries. Better yet, check to make sure your accountant has QBO online access. ?? Income Records: All 1099 forms and W-2s (if applicable). ALL 1099s ?? Estimated Tax Payments: Documentation for federal, state, and property tax payments. ?? Salaries and Wages: Copies of W-2s, W-3s, and payroll tax returns. And again, ALL 1099s ?? Charitable Contributions: Receipts for donations over $250. #SmallBusiness #TaxPreparation
