Melody Sosa knew that LEEP was the perfect fit for her two children.?Her son graduated last year from LEEP; her daughter will this year. Ella le dirá que fue más que el aprendizaje de dos idiomas. “LEEP es un ambiente unificado”, explica Melody, quien también es miembro de la junta directiva de la organización de padres y maestros (PTO) de LEEP (como presidenta de recaudación de fondos). “Se trata de las virtudes - Amor, Respeto, Valentía, Gratitud, Alegría - que se incorporan al modelo de aprendizaje”. Y ese modelo no se trata de traducir inglés a espa?ol o espa?ol a inglés, dice.?Melody celebra que sus hijos ahora hablan ambos idiomas con fluidez, al igual que ella celebra el amor y la preservación de la cultura hispana.?(Melody nació aquí en los Estados Unidos, pero criada en México hasta los seis a?os). “Los maestros alientan a los estudiantes y les dan refuerzo positivo”, dice Melody.?"Todos los estudiantes están reconfortados".
