Security data fabrics are still one of the busiest markets in cybersecurity. There have been so many good updates lately that I had to share some highlights: (Note: including some broader data fabric companies here because they've had significant announcements.) – Observo: Announced a $15M seed round just yesterday. – DataBahn: Released Cruz last week. It's an AI agent for building/monitoring/optimizing data pipelines – and one of the most sophisticated AI agent implementations I've seen yet. – Cribl: $319M Series E ($3.5B valuation) in August, and just announced $200M in ARR last week. – PrevalentAI: Launched exposure management, a new vertical product on top of its data fabric. This is a trend we'll keep seeing. – Abstract Security: $15M Series A in October. – Leen: Launched their Inside Security publication in July and continues to crush it with content. – Avalor/Zscaler: Officially moved the Avalor product branding under Zscaler, now part of the risk management product portfolio. ...plus a few more funding announcements exciting stealth startups I can't talk about yet :) This is definitely one of the emerging markets to watch in 2025.
