Happy Holidays, Chamber Members! ?? The Friends and Family Weekend is upon us once again. This Saturday, November 23rd, many of our local businesses are offering discounts in exchange for donations to our local food pantry. Thank you to all who are participating in making this a successful event that benefits our local community. All donations will be taken to Leelanau Christian Neighbors in time to be distributed for the holidays. Michael at Murdick's can either pick up or accept donations at this shop. Please contact him [email protected]?or 231.271.4445 if you would like him to pick up your boxed or bagged donations (it is really helpful if the donations are ready to go when Mike picks them up!). The intention is to pick up or deliver on Monday, November 25th. There is still time to get involved. Please feel free to reach out if you would like more information.

The Leelanau Peninsula Chamber of Commerce is governed by By-Laws under the direction of a Board of Directors. Our Board is made up of Business people from our community.

Leelanau Peninsula Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting & Dinner will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 6-9pm at French Valley Vineyard. The evening will begin with a cocktail reception in the loft at The Barn at French Valley Vineyard followed by a short business meeting and buffet dinner service in the lower level. Our member, ShareCare supports Leelanau seniors by providing wellness and medical rides, prescription, grocery and library materials delivery, respite care, caregiver support, friendly visits and phone calls, fall and spring clean-up, Wellness Programming, trips (they’re going to New York City in December!) and their latest program--The Memory Cafe which is open to anyone living in Northern Michigan or visiting the area. They do this through a network of volunteers.
