?? LEE HEALTH TEAM UPDATE ?? Thursday, Oct. 10 | 10:00 a.m. Employees assigned to Team B are scheduled to report for duty at 1300 today, October 10, 2024. This decision is supported by the results of a safety assessment conducted by Lee Health Facilities and in conjunction with Lee County and Cape Coral EOCs. In addition, as of 0802 this morning all National Weather Service warnings have been canceled for our area including the hurricane, flood, and storm surge warnings. It is understood the storm impacted areas in varying degrees and want to stress that the safety of our team is important. Katy Martinez, Senior Director of Development at Lee Health Foundation, recently accepted a generous $7,750 donation from Lake Michigan Credit Union! This unrestricted gift to our Little Red Wagon Fund will directly support the areas of greatest need at Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida. Through their annual Band Together campaign, LMCU members and employees—along with matching donations—are helping us provide lifesaving pediatric services to children in Southwest Florida. Thanks to the Little Red Wagon Fund, vital programs such as pediatric urology, pediatric burn services, and dialysis care have been introduced, making a real difference in the lives of young patients. #GiveGolisano #BandTogether

Compassionate Mammogram Fund: Ensures that women in need have access to leading-edge breast cancer detection. ?? Nurse Navigator Fund: Gives cancer patients access to services that will help their quality of life during treatment including integrative therapies, resources, medical supplies and educational materials. ?? Area of Greatest Need Fund: Helps purchase equipment, supplies, medications, and more to support both inpatient and outpatient services. A huge shout-out and heartfelt thank you to the Cape Coral Volunteer Fireman's Benevolent Association (CCVFBA) for their generous $125,000 gift! With this donation, the infant/toddler playground at our Cape Coral Child Development Center will be resurfaced, creating a safer and more enjoyable space to play.
