Starting tomorrow, Nov. 21, one additional Lee County parking lot is available for paid public parking on evenings and weekends. Lee County’s employee parking lot at 1762 Royal Palm Avenue in downtown Fort Myers is available for a flat fee of $3.35 for any six-hour block from 6:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday or from 6:30 p.m. Friday to 5:30 a.m. Visitors can pay for parking through their phone, computer or the parking kiosks and follow the prompts for a seamless parking experience. Continuing its commitment to countywide infrastructure improvements, the Board approved two roadway resurfacing contracts. Work to resurface 25.1 lane miles in Lehigh Acres will begin in January and work to resurface 2.23 lane miles in Bonita Springs will begin in spring.
