A missing stuffed animal alert turned into a high-flying rescue at RSW! The LCPA Airport Police Department was called in to track down a beloved stuffed animal that had gone missing during a visit to Fort Myers. The search took off as one of our officers combed through everything (even a sea of car seats), but they couldn’t quite locate the animal. But did that stop our officer? Not for a second! He continued the search for a second day, this time he brought in backup. The officers searched high and low—including a dumpster. And guess what? Mission accomplished. The lost stuffed animal, Toot, was safely located! Toot didn’t just get a lift back home – he went on a VIP airport tour, snapping pics with airplanes, police cars, fire trucks and more! Toot was then carefully packaged with a tracking number and sent back to their human! Another rescue mission completed by our team to help one of our young passengers!
