What’s the secret behind our weatherproof outdoor luminaires? The journey to a perfect outdoor luminaire combines state-of-the-art technology with meticulous craftsmanship. After assembly, the critical step follows: potting. In a multi-stage process, polyurethane is used to create a robust seal that protects our luminaires from water, salt, chlorine, and other environmental stressors. A special highlight? If tiny air bubbles form after potting, they are carefully removed by hand with tweezers – a testament to our dedication to quality and precision. ?? Our potting process allows us to manufacture LED profiles up to 5 meters in length. Depending on the thickness and color of the polyurethane (transparent or opal), the light transmittance is perfectly adjusted – ensuring optimal results in every environment. ??
