We are thrilled to unveil the case study for Drag the Vote — a trailblazing campaign to get more 2SLGBTQI+ people and allies to vote, with queer and trans rights in mind, in the upcoming federal election! Drag the Vote, which is set to be Canada’s largest ever queer get out the vote campaign, leverages the power of drag performers to get this important message across! After a spike in hate against queer and trans communities over the past few years, this campaign comes at an important time: right before a crucial election. Society of Queer Momentum is the client and LeBlanc (& co.) Communications is the agency that designed this eyecatching campaign brand, which was inspired by the aesthetics of our favourite drag performers and gay bars. ?? This week, I am spending two days on set in Vancouver with weareallies.ca! The We Are Allies campaign was created to help share information on how you can support trans, Two-Spirit, and non-binary youth. It’s the second time that that LeBlanc (& co.) Communications and Ode Films (Christopher Snow and Kevin Nault) have supported the campaign with filming, after a last shoot in Montreal.
