Today marks the culmination of my enriching 6-week APPE rotation at Lebanon Shops Pharmacy, a cherished local community pharmacy. Reflecting on this experience fills me with gratitude and excitement for the invaluable opportunities it offered. During my time here, I immersed myself in various aspects of pharmaceutical care. From compounding non-sterile medications to conducting MTMs with patients, every moment was a chance to grow both personally and professionally. I engaged extensively in reaching out to healthcare providers for prescription clarifications and therapy recommendations, navigating insurance coverage intricacies, and counseling patients on their prescribed medications. Thank you to Thomas Riley, my esteemed preceptor, and Kristi Riley, PharmD, RPh for mentorship and guidance throughout this journey. Their expertise, coupled with the unwavering support of the entire staff, made this experience truly exceptional. Thank you, Lebanon Shops Pharmacy, for providing me with this invaluable opportunity to learn and grow. I am eager to carry forward the lessons and experiences gained here as I continue to pursue excellence in pharmaceutical care.??????????
