Leadership Leawood takes the Kansas Capitol (and dang, it looks good on them)! ?? Our Leadership Leawood class spent the day in Topeka for State Government Day, gaining firsthand insight into the legislative process and key issues impacting our community. From discussions with Johnson County legislators and state leaders to a behind-the-scenes look at lobbying and economic development, it was an action-packed day of learning and engagement. Snowed in no more! ?? After a week of chilly temps and school closures, we were thrilled to finally get out and connect at last night’s February After Hours at Chicken N Pickle (OP location)! A huge thank you to our host for the incredible hospitality, delicious food, and fun atmosphere—not to mention the free ice skating for parents who brought their kids. It was the perfect way to shake off the cabin fever and catch up with our Chamber community. If you missed it, don’t worry—plenty more networking events are on the calendar!
