Least Of These, Inc. announces the resignation of Executive Director Kristy Carter who has led the organization with passion and commitment for the past 10 years. Under her leadership, the food pantry has expanded its reach, strengthened its community partnerships and provided essential food assistance to countless individuals and families throughout Christian County. Since assuming the role, Kristy and her team have been instrumental in enhancing the pantry’s operations, increasing food accessibility and advocating for hunger relief in our community. Her vision and dedication have not only sustained the food pantry’s mission but also paved the way for future growth and innovation. "We are deeply grateful for Kristy’s dedication to the people of Christian County and her commitment to ensuring no one in our community goes hungry," said Mike Osborn, past board president. "Her leadership has made a lasting impact and, while we will miss her guidance, we are excited to build upon the strong foundation currently in place." The community is invited to celebrate Carter’s service to Least Of These at the pantry, 1720 James River Rd., Ozark, March 19, from noon to 2:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided at this come-and-go event. As the organization transitions to a new executive director, the food pantry’s mission will continue to move forward. This moment of change brings new opportunities for growth, innovation and expanded services to meet the evolving needs of our community. While continuing her role as director of client services, the Least of These Board Of Directors has appointed Michele Pierce as the Transitional Administrator. She will be the point of contact for Least Of These.
