关于我们

Learning Bird partners with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit leaders to develop education solutions for lifelong learning. Our work includes curriculum development, course development, digital and print resource creation, educator support, professional development, and more. We support First Nations, Métis, and Inuit schools and communities in building language and culture curriculum and resources. Our team of educators works alongside your school to help identify needs, and create outlines and scripts. Content is produced in our in-house studio and made available on our platform for easy access by educators. Culturally Relevant Classroom Content: Content for English, math, science and social studies, language and culture that integrates Indigenous pedagogy. A Collaborative Creation Model: We work together with your team to ensure all content meets your needs and reflects your history, language, and culture. Support for Schools with Limited Internet: Our platform can be accessed with or without a strong Internet connection. Educator Training and PD: We provide virtual and in-person training for a variety of educators, and can offer workshops and sessions on technology and pedagogy-related topics. Ongoing Support Throughout the Year: Each partner we support works with an education specialist educator who can help recommend lessons, provide class ideas and offer day-to-day support.

Have a Heart Day is a youth-driven reconciliation event dedicated to advocating for equity for Indigenous children. Held every year on February 14, this initiative, led by the First Nations Child and Family Caring Society of Canada, reminds us that love and fairness go hand in hand. It’s a call to action for governments to uphold the rights of Indigenous children, ensuring they receive the same opportunities as all kids to grow, thrive, and succeed. ?? Join the movement!
