In celebration of #WomensHistoryMonth, we honor the incredible work of Carole Lindstrom and Michaela Goade, the author and illustrator of the Caldecott Medal-winning book "???? ?????? ?????????? ????????????????????." Carole, an Anishinaabe/Metis author, shares powerful stories of Native strength, resilience, and the importance of protecting the environment. Michaela, a member of the Tlingit & Haida Tribes, brings the story to life through art inspired by her cultural heritage.
