关于我们
Learn21 is a non-profit that provides innovative, cost-effective educational technology solutions to schools. Today, we support schools with a dynamic team of software developers and instructional innovators. Over the last decade anywhere, anytime learning has changed the face of education. With the eruption of mobile technologies and digital content, districts are expected to offer a variety of online and blended courses. The need for technology solutions and professional development that support digital learning has become a necessity. In 2009, a group of school districts realized that we can no longer afford to work in silos and expect to be technologically efficient and responsive. Led by a small team of educators, Learn21 was formed as a non-profit. Our mission is to provide visionary, innovative, collaborative, and cost-effective solutions in educational technology. As the Learn21 vision has spread across Ohio, so has our understanding of digital learning and effective solutions. We have assembled a team of professionals with over 20 years of instructional technology experience in K-20. We realize that K-12 school districts need… - A roadmap for success - Intentional collaboration - Professional development - Support that complements the vision Our grassroots growth in 3 years is a testimony that we listen and we care about every child in every district.

How can schools extend device lifespans and make the most of their tech investments? Replacing devices every three years is costly, but what if we could stretch that to four, five, or even six years? With budgets tighter than ever, sustainable device management isn’t just smart—it’s necessary. In this article, I explore strategies for maximizing device lifespan and how Learn21 has been helping schools build sustainable programs for over a decade.
Replacing devices every three years is costly—but what if schools could extend that timeline to four, five, or even six years? With budgets stretched and technology essential to learning, prolonging device life isn’t just cost-saving; it’s critical. According to Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) member resource Navigating Student Device 1:1 Sustainability, the need to extend device lifespan is one of the leading challenges to K-12 sustainability. For over a decade, Learn21 has worked alongside schools to develop and maintain 1-to-1 programs, large-scale device deployments, and sustainable replacement cycles. From this, we’ve listened, coached, and refined best practices to help districts maximize their technology investments. One of the ways that we do this is with the Learn21 Tech Director Toolbox (TDT). One module in particular, TDT-Asset, supports best practices in asset management. The key? Better protection, smarter tracking, and a culture of care.? Read more about how you can maximize device lifespan!
