Congratulations to J’Vaughn Jones on his promotion to Assistant Chief CFI here at L2FC! Our very own Chief Kat was on-hand to congratulate him! He’s been working very hard all year and really going the extra mile at the flight school. We appreciate all our CFIs and wish each of them the very best in their career, even if that means they eventually fly the coup! For now though, J’Vaughn will continue to train pilots in the skies over New England and keep this ship on course when he’s not flying. Outstanding!

Meet another one of our awesome CFIs, Richard Goldstein! “I've been working as a CFI for about 2 and a half years. My journey into aviation started in 2019 when I graduated from UCONN, yet still had absolutely no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I decided to Google "how to become pilot" and the rest is history. I did all of my primary training right here at the Brainard airport, but have done the bulk of my instructing thus far out of Albuquerque, New Mexico.”

We had a great time this past Saturday at the Simsbury Airport - 4B9 with our friends and neighbors! We flew a lot of intro flights too! Our very own Jeff Pardine passed his CMEL add on Oct. 8th! Way to go brother!
