But to start, it's important to know the difference between structured and unstructured data. Think of structured data as quantitative and linear. Data points like dates, times, pricing, etc. ?? Unstructured data, on the other hand, is qualitative. Examples include emails, phone records, and text messages. ??     How to fail at digital transformation 101....?? ??Fail to plan. Plan to fail. ??No understanding of requirements. ??No internal resources to manage said transformation. ??Analysis paralysis. TOO MANY DEMOS. ??No executive sponsorship or steering committee ??Lack of change management. #digitaltransformation or really any technology implementation: ?A plan - what are you trying to accomplish and what problem are you solving for? ?Understanding needs vs wants and what your business actually requires of a system is fundamental in finding the right solution. ?Have you identified the person or people accountable for the implementation or transformation? Do THEY know what they are responsible for? ?Got demo fatigue? There is such a thing people. When we look at too much tech, we don't retain much. Requirements directly impact this one. If you know what you need - you'll look at less #tech ?This is a big one. To "transform" you need a vision. That vision typically comes from your Executives - we need their vision to get buy in on the "transformation." - This will help with adoption, attitudes, and overall morale when the scary CHANGE is coming! ?You need to treat #transformation like an internal marketing campaign.
