?? Client Spotlight ?? I want to share an inspiring story from a recent coaching session. My client reached out because she wanted to figure out how she could stop working her full-time job so that she could be more available for her children. It turns out that she didn’t have the energy to work on her plan because every day she was feeling overwhelmed and angry. She was short tempered with her kids, and she was feeling tired and resentful by the time she got to work. With my guidance, she was able to articulate what she wanted to experience every day. She discovered that she truly desired stronger and healthier relationships, to feel nurtured, and to experience more joy and peace. Together, we worked on a doable plan to begin her journey of self-care. At the end of her first session, she shared, "I wasn't expecting this. Today has been profound, and I feel empowered." ?? It's incredible how quickly you can get results when you're ready and willing to embark on the journey. If you're feeling overwhelmed and seeking a change, let's talk. Schedule your consultation today and take that first step! ? ?? https://lnkd.in/gmWX4aAH

Hey sis! Sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is simply take a moment to breathe and bask in the sunshine. Taking time to relax isn't just about pausing from the hustle—it's about creating space to recharge and refuel. ?? As women, making time for these simple moments of self-care allows us to be more resourced, helping us move through our days with ease and grace. So, I encourage you to step outside, feel the sun on your face, and let nature replenish your spirit. You deserve that peaceful break today! ??

I recently heard someone say, “to be resilient is to have someone fight for us as well” and it struck a chord in me. Sometimes you might need your tribe or someone willing to take a stand for you so that your voice is heard and justice prevails. It’s okay to let someone else step in and be your fierce crusader. Resilience isn’t a solo journey. ??

?? Navigating the judicial system can be an overwhelming experience, especially for women of color who face debilitating challenges and pressures in these settings. In the midst of such trials, finding a moment of peace might seem unattainable, but mindfulness can be a quiet, powerful tool in your resilience arsenal. A study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association highlights how participants in an 8-week mindfulness program experienced a significant reduction in stress symptoms. This finding is more than just numbers; it's a testament to the strength that comes from within, offering a form of support that can calm the storm of emotions and decisions you may be facing. Whether it's through meditation, mindful breathing, or simply being present in the moment, mindfulness encourages a break from the chaos, helping you to focus, make clear decisions, and handle interactions with grace and awareness. To anyone moving through the twists and turns of legal challenges: consider this a gentle invitation to explore mindfulness. It's not just a practice but a pathway to inner peace and strength. ????

Hey sis, keep at it. I know that sometimes it can feel like life doesn’t want to give you a break. Remember that you can do hard things, because you have navigated some tough times before and you’re still standing! Be diligent and determined to rise above anything and everything that is trying to keep you down. Most importantly, ask for help when you need it and take supreme care of yourself. ????♀???????

Here’s a tip: keep a grocery list of your must haves. Before you buy groceries, make a list of your must haves and nonessential items. Add the total cost for all items and include sales tax. You can decide before you buy groceries what you are willing to go without if you discover you will go over your spending limit. Want an easy way to track your weekly spending? Sisters, in response to the recent federal agency ruling that is intended to dismantle vital support systems for minority owned businesses, it's crucial to stand together and fight. Yet, as we navigate these turbulent times, let's remember that our strength to resist oppression stems from within. Prioritize your self-care—it's not selfish, it's essential. Nurture yourself tenderly and embrace daily practices that cultivate peace. Only when we're fortified from within can we confront these challenges with the power they demand. Let's unite in resilience and self-care, for it's from this foundation that we'll rise stronger together. ???????
