Congratulations to Robert Waalkes for receiving the Volunteer Award at the Commission on Disabilities 2024 Awards Ceremony yesterday! As an active participant in The League's Community Development Services (CDS) Program, Robert was recognized as someone who advances opportunity and independence for people with disabilities. "Robert Waalkes acts with kindness and the spirit of giving while selflessly volunteering at several facilities that provide services to people with disabilities." We are so happy that Robert's fellow CDS friends were able to cheer him on and celebrate his hard work in the community.
