"Wellness" gets tossed around a lot, especially in discussions about public safety, but what does it actually mean to be well? Wellness isn’t just about not being sick—it’s a holistic journey. It’s not a one-time thing, but a continuous process where you're mindful and intentional in your choices, actions, and mindset every day. https://ow.ly/XJCT50Vo1KX #FirstResponderWellnessWeek #MnCities

Today at Governance Conference 2025 we celebrated pooling excellence by honoring the work of individuals and pools making a difference. Dan Greensweig of League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust (LMCIT) and TX Health Benefits Pool are recipients of AGRiP’s 2025 Awards for Excellence in Leadership and Performance. Dan, Administrator of LMCIT, received the Award for Excellence in Leadership for his work to demonstrably improve the approach, conversation and treatment of PTSD among first responders. TX Health Benefits Pool received the Award for Excellence in Performance for its outcomes-oriented cybersecurity program that addresses a uniquely important risk issue for pools: protecting member data assets. We also celebrated 15 pools that earned AGRiP Recognition. Recognition is a rigorous framework for pools to conduct a thorough self-assessment against established best practices, or Advisory Standards. Achieving Recognition indicates a pools’ commitment to achieving industry best practices. Thank you to all of the award recipients for your contributions and dedication to advancing excellence in pooling!
