LCV is seeking a State Capacity Building Intern who will support the State Capacity Building Director in working with LCV and our 30+ state affiliates, collectively referred to as the Conservation Voters Movement (CVM), to plan and implement our network-wide annual conference and further develop our CVM communication platforms. They will provide valuable support to state affiliates and the conference planning team, offering timely assistance to conference attendees, event coordination and communication, administrative support, and collecting resources to share on our network-wide platforms. They will provide onsite event support at the conference the week of May 12-16, held in San Francisco, CA. LCVEF is seeking an Election Research and Experimentation Intern who will support the Director of Civic Engagement. The intern will support research on the election landscape for odd-year elections in preparation for summer and fall operations. Their primary focus will be analyzing upcoming executive and legislative elections, as well as researching off-cycle school board elections. Special projects include research to help identify key civic engagement trends, opportunities, and challenges for the organization’s nonpartisan field and engagement operations. The intern will also assist in compiling and presenting findings that can inform strategies and planning for future nonpartisan civic engagement efforts. LCV is seeking a Communications Intern who will support the Communications Department with its external communications on owned, earned and social media. The Communications Intern will support and learn from the entire communications team, and will assist in drafting and distributing content across all of the communications team’s platforms and audiences, which may include drafting blog posts, press statements and releases, social media copy and the weekly tipsheet. The Communications Intern will also play a key role supporting the earned media team by distributing LCV’s daily news clips to LCV staff across the country, maintaining press lists, gathering content at press events, and pitching press as needed. https://lnkd.in/d35Kb_6m

LCV is hiring a State Water Policy Director who will develop a network-wide advocacy program to advance state and local policies protecting clean water. The State Water Policy Director strengthens collaboration across 30+ state affiliates, collectively called the Conservation Voters Movement (CVM), by identifying and broadly sharing lessons learned and helping develop, implement, and design advocacy campaigns that result in state and local policy victories to protect clean water. This role develops and designs policy guidance for issue campaigns at the state and local level, grounded in social, racial, and economic justice and works with CVM partners to implement those policies.?https://lnkd.in/et3MKjKX
