What is?thoughtful leadership? At their core, a thoughtful leader?is a?listener—not just with their ears, but with their heart, their experiences, and with an?informed gut.?The thoughtful leader also routinely?empathizes?with their team—taking the time to lean in and share experiences, pay attention to the epidata swirling around everyone, and being?aware of what is going on within the organization. Being a sponge and?absorbing?and synthesizing activities and happenings is a hallmark of a thoughtful leader, as is having the skills, proficiency, and fortitude to comprehend the whole environment of their organization—discerning, participating, and not retreating.
